It’s not often that you hear about a bourbon recipe that pre-dates the United States of America! The folks at Old Nick Williams whiskey know all about this. Their ancestors started a whiskey business in the mid 1700’s. The family business did quite well until prohibition. In fact, at one point they were shipping whiskey to Presidential inaugurations in Washington! The business failed after that but fast forward to the 2000’s and two cousins and their fathers got together to revive the old business. After sending some of the original whiskey off to a lab to be deconstructed (yes, they still had some of the bottles!) They revived the brand and here they are! Watch the story I did for WFMYNews2. You won’t believe how this story “spins”. We even found some of the bottles on the family property that were smashed by the government representatives during prohibition! STILL THERE!
